Control System DSE3110
The control module gives digital readouts of:
1. Engine speed
2. Generator voltage
3. Battery voltage
4. Output frequency
5. Engine hours run.
All MPMC series genset have a control cubicle (the deepsea controller DSE3110 as standard) mounted on a isolated support, which has the following features:
1. Emergency stop button (lock-down type)
2. AC output circuit breaker with over-current protection
3. Electronic digital control module with monitoring/control facility and warning indicators
4. Automatic shutdown protection
5. DC circuit control switch.
Note:
1. The engine coolant temperature used temperature meter display
2. The engine oil pressure used oil pressure meter display
3. Generator current used current meter display and used change switch for each phase displayed separately.
Automatic shutdown occurs under:
1. Low engine oil pressure
2. High engine water temperature
3. Overspeed/underspeed
4. Failure to start after three attempts.
The control module has indicators for failure information:
1. Overspeed/underspeed
2. Failure to start
3. Low oil pressure
4. Battery charger failure
5. Emergency stop
6. High water temperature.
